Mental health in school children: A comprehensive review

Author(s):

Nitika

Abstract:

Mental health concerns among school-aged children have become a global priority due to rising academic pressure, social stressors, digital exposure, and post-pandemic psychological changes. This review synthesises recent literature to examine the prevalence, determinants, consequences, and intervention strategies for improving mental health in school children. Findings highlight the urgent need for multi-level support systems involving families, schools, and communities.
